Apache Railroad

Holbrook Arizona October 19th 2024 we will have a one day excursion on the Apache railroad starting at Holbrook Az and running 37.4 miles to Snowflake Az. The turnaround will be at the Apache shops and yard. Because of parking at seton there will be a 20 car limit 

Please call Joe Schnyder for space availability at 623-332-0238. Will need your check made out to MOW,  Excursion participant, car inspection form and release sent to me at 20401 North 33rd Drive Phoenix AZ 85027-3069 after your spot is verified.

MOW Annual Meeting and Excursion

November 9-10, 2024

Motorcar Operators West is having their Annual Meeting and Excursion at the Bay Area Electric Railroad Association (B.A.E.R.A.), dba Western Railway Museum, and we welcome all NARCOA operators and guests. There will be a night run on Saturday which includes an assortment of hot drinks and an amazing selection of homemade cookies by Kristi Hall. The extended excursion and meeting will be on Sunday. Plan on approx. 50 total RT miles. The run fee is $65 per car.

From the MOW website ‘Forms’ tab, download the ‘Excursion Participant Registration’, ‘General Release’ (one sheet double-sided), and ‘NARCOA Rail Vehicle Inspection Forms’ forms and carefully complete them as indicated below, and include them with your check.

Upon receipt of your paperwork, you will be sent a Run Packet which will include the details of both days.

NARCOA compliant radio is required in all cars, no exceptions. This is a NARCOA event. Long pants, boots, and hi-vise vests (or=) are required for all participants. All NARCOA rules and MOW Operating Rules apply, and we will run rain or shine. No mentoring without prior approval of EC. No homemade rail vehicles. No smoking or vaping on Railroad property.
